Each day during Wimbledon, we'll preview three must-see matches—and give our predictions.

Jankovic must feel like getting this far is an accomplishment. Wimbledon hasn’t been kind to her over the years: She’s never been out of the fourth round, and she’s lost in the first round three of the last five years. But here she is, at 30, on Centre Court. She should make the most of the moment, because the way Kvitova has been playing, it may not last long. Winner: Kvitova

Is it payback time for the German? Muguruza beat Kerber in three sets at Roland Garros last month, and Kerber has won seven straight matches since. The 2012 Wimbledon semifinalist has a stronger track record on grass than the hard-hitting Spaniard, and should be able to use it to give her counter-punches a little extra oomph. Winner: Kerber

Lisicki, the 2013 Wimbledon finalist, is the more accomplished player, but Bacsinszky may soon put an end to that. The Swiss woman, a French Open semifinalist, is up to No. 15 in the rankings, three spots ahead of Lisicki, and she’s 2-0 in their head-to-head meetings. But Bacsinszky has never played her at Wimbledon, on the courts that Lisicki loves best. Winner: Lisicki
